DON’T LAUGH IN BED

Don’t want my woman laughin’ in the bed

Her guffawin’ on the pillow is a sound I dread

To bed ain’t where I go

To hear no ho ho ho

Nor ha ha ha and so

I tell the woman, no

Don’t laugh in bed

Don’t want my woman laughin’ in the bed

This ain’t where she comes to have her sense of humor fed

Frankly, I fail to see

Why there should ever be

Reason to tee hee hee

Between the sheets with me

Don’t laugh I bed

Don’t like a lot of gigglin’ ‘round the bunk

Even if my lovers’ test I flunk

Be serious for sure

There can be no call for

Hilarious uproar

However poor I score

Don’t want my woman laughin’ in the bed

I’d rather hear her scream and shout and holler out instead

A bed is where I try

To cause her sharp outcry

Want her to gasp and sigh

But make her laugh, not I

Not in the bed.
